Believe it or not, this is the fifth camp for Okotoks Charlie Power as a member of the Calgary Stampeders.

The Holy Trinity Academy Knights alumni, was a linebacker in his High School days, but converted to fullback at the University of Saskatchewan.

He was drafted in the fourth round by the Stamps in 2013, and began playing full time the following year.

He's been challenged to give long time fullback, Rob Cote, a run for his money this year, and Power says he's doing his best to earn that starting job.

"I take the approach every camp that I'm going to compete for that starting role. So, I control what I can control. I think it's going well. There's some stuff I've got to clean up, but I think it's going good."

Power and the rest of the Stamps tackle the B.C. Lions Tuesday, June 6, at 7 o'clock at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
