Jim McLuskey, owner of Mountain Shadows, and Coach says this tournament has been an end of season celebration for the Okotoks teams!

"Well, at this time of year it's the end of the season, and they're basically prepared.  I think our girls come into this tournament to have fun and want to look good in front of our home audience."

Dacey Zacharias, volunteer and Mountain Shadows Momma says the club has been doing well all year.

"We had a great showing at provincials this year, for our Mountain Shadows Club." She adds "We had  couple of gymnasts go onto Western Canadian Nationals, they just got home last weekend and they had a great showing there, now we're just excited to show off our talent at home."

Zacharias's daughter Lexie was one  of the gymnasts to rank 1st in the JO 8/9 junior competitive levels, while Brooke Spurway took away 1st place in the children's JO 8/9 level.
