The sting hasn't quite worn off for Okotoks native and Calgary Stampeders receiver Anthony Parker after losing their second straight Grey Cup in November.

Parker says the loss to Toronto was a little tougher to take than the one in 2016 to Ottawa.

"Last year for the most part I felt that for the most part they outplayed us. This time I thought we played a pretty good game. 97 per cent of the game. And you know a few plays go the wrong way and a few mistakes here and there, you don't finish a drive here and there and that's the difference. They played right until the end and they got it done. It stings a little more than last year did that's for sure."

Parker says he's made peace with it, but would still like another crack at winning his second Grey Cup with the stamps since 2014.
