The Calgary Stampeders jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in defeating the Edmonton Eskimos 39 - 18 in the Labour Day classic.

A big game for Anthony Parker with a 24 yard touchdown run where he put a pretty fancy move on the Esks Defenders.

"There's no name for that move, that's one  of those things when your quarterback says in the huddle 'hey go score on this one,' you're going to do anything to make it happen, and you know what, the guys made a couple of great blocks on that play that I was able to read off of, mad a good cut and once I saw that end zone there was no stopping," Parker says.

It was Parker's 100th CFL game and it means a lot to him.

"Absolutely, when I looked at the schedule at the start of the year and I saw that game 100 was going to be Labour Day, it couldn't be more perfect, s the big thing for me was making sure I was playing in that game and here we are, we made it, had an outstanding game and outstanding week and now we're still in for the rest of the season," he says.

Special teams player, and another Okotoks product, Charlie Power says, as a blocker, he feels a lot of pride when returner Roy Finch runs one back.

"Oh ya, it's amazing to watch, I would hate to play against him that's for sure, Power says. "He scares teams which helps a lot with blocking, getting guys to slow down, trying to get their feet, so if he keeps hittin' it, we're doing to do really good."

The Stamps and Eskimos do at it again Saturday September 9, in Edmonton.
