The Okotoks Oilers made a little bit of history last night winning 6 to 4 against the Spruce Grove Saints at  Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton.

They are the final team to win a competitive game in the Edmonton Arena that Wayne Gretzky called home for most of his career.

Ben Sanderson and Kyle Gordon both scored twice with Kaylor Wall and Tanner Landeroute contributing singles.

Riley Morris was in net for the oilers.

The Oilers wrap  their weekend road trip December 16th in Drayton Valley.
