The Okotoks Oilers are leading the way as they won game one 4 to 1 over the Brooks Bandits Friday night, March30th.

The teams are battling it out to be the South Division Champs in a best of seven series in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

The Oilers jumped out to a 2 to 0 in the first period with goals from Marc Pasemko and Kyle Gordon.

Brooks got their lone goal in the second period but Nick Blankenburg answered back with one more for the Oilers putting them ahead 3 to 1.

Tanner Landeroute got the last goal of the game with an empty net for the 4 to 1 win.

Game two goes March 31st at 7 o'clock  at the Pason Centennial Arena.
