The Highwood Mustangs Junior baseball squad play the Okotoks Midget Outlaws in their season opener Thursday, April 6, in High River.

A second high school baseball team in High River you say?

Coach Kevin Jones says they had so many players come out this year, they had to form two teams.

"Grade 10's, 11's and 12's are on the senior team. And then all the grade nine's and 10's are on the junior team, and we set up an exhibition game against the Okotoks Outlaws and hopefully some other smaller schools like Nanton and Vulcan."

The first pitch goes out at 5:30 P.M. at Highwood High School.
