Make it 14 straight wins for the Okotoks Oilers, thanks to a 5-4 overtime win over the Whitecourt Wolverines Sunday, February 4, at the Pason Centennial Arena.

Carter Huber got the winner for the Oilers with 2.6 seconds left in overtime.

He says they did what they had to to win.

"I don't think overall as a team it was our best effort, but we really gutted it out and it's just good to win those close games, you know to be able to win those ones."

The win ties the Oilers record for consecutive wins set back in the 2010-2011 season.

They can set a new record Friday, February 9, when the Grande Prairie Storm come to town.
