Curling fans are going to get their fill starting late next month with half a dozen big events slated for Winsport in Calgary.

Local Curling Club Manager, Mike Libbus, says those "Jonesing" for sports to watch on TV won't be left empty handed.

"They're going to have the Scotties, the Brier, Mixed Doubles Canadian Championship and then yeah, they're going to throw two Slam's in at the end and then plus in the middle they're going to throw in a Men's Worlds. So, there's going to be two straight months of curling on TV to watch and enjoy and right now the way things are going that might be all we have this year."

Libbus says he's sad to see provincials cancelled because of the lockdown, particularly because he and his crew were set to be the ice makers in the Sylvan Lake bubble for the event.
