A big game Friday, September 22, for Okotoks Holy Trinity Academy Knights football squad as they play host to the Strathmore Spartans.

The Knights are 2-and-0 to start the season, and want to stay unbeaten.

Coach Matt Hassett says it's their first time playing the Spartans in five years, so they don't know much about them, but they don't really need to.

"It's about doing what we do. Don't worry about what they do, execute and we should be fine. If we can play Knight football and everyone fly to the football and be aggressive, we should be OK."

It's "Community Fan Night" at the game, which means lot's of fun activities before and during the game for fans.

That includes face painting and carnival games for the kids, along with give-a-ways at the gate.

The team is also collecting donations for the Okotoks Food Bank.

Hassett says the HTA Knights band will also be in the stands and performing throughout the evening.

It all gets started with the the Foothills Atom Eagles hitting the field first at 5 o'clock with the Knights and Spartans going under the lights at 7:30 p.m.
