Day four of the Panoka Stampede Chuckwagon races was last night on Saturday June 30 2018, with driver's battling their way into the top eight to qualify for tonight's semi-finals.

The track was made difficult to traverse with the mid-afternoon rains, but overall Vern Nolin from Dewberry Alberta, places first in timing last night, and first overall in the aggregate making him the Panoka Stampede Aggregate Champion. He drove off with a new GMC Sierra.

High Rivers Jason Glass had a slower night, placing 21st, but still sitting 4th overall qualifying him for tonight's semi-final round.

Other locals didn't fare as well with High River's Jordie Fike placing in 11th last night sitting 18th in the aggregate, Dayton Sutherland from Okotoks in 30th last night sitting 29th in the aggregate and Mark Sutherland finishing 25th last night sitting him in the disappointing 9th spot in the aggregate standings, missing qualification for tonight's semi-finals by less than one second.

The semi-final round begins tonight at 7:30 on Sunday July 1 2018, with the top 4 aggregate scorers moving onto the finals on Monday for the Tommy Dorchester $50,000 winner take all, finals.
