The High River Heat head to Calgary to face the Wranglers in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League playoffs Saturday, July 8.

Heat Coach Larry Makortoff says he was hoping to host these playoffs, not be on the road.

"unfortunately we missed our opportunity to play at home for two games, after losing our season finale to the Wranglers at home. But that's the way it is, we'll go into their barn and try to steal a couple there."

They play Saturday at 8 o'clock, and then Sunday, July 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the Brentwood Arena.

If they need a tie-breaker, they'll do it National Lacrosse League style with a 10 minute winner take all mini-game after the second game Sunday.
