The High River Heat and Medicine Hat Sun Devils battle it out for the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League Tier II South Division title this weekend in High River.

The heat have been off for close to three weeks after finishing first in the regular season, with a 17-and-1 record.

Coach Larry Makortoff says he's not too worried about being rusty, but he knows the Sun Devils will come at them hard to start Saturday's opening game.

"I guess our biggest concern is if we come out flat. We want to start like we did our last game in Medicine Hat. Our transition was so good there. We got up on them by about six goals right off the get-go and we never looked back."

They play game one Saturday, July 21 at 3 o'clock in the Cargill Fieldhouse at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex, with game two Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the big arena.

If they need a tie-breaker they'll play a mini-game to decide the winner starting at 4:10 Sunday.

If the Heat win they'll host Provincials next weekend.
