Saskatoon's turning into a hotbed of chuckwagon racing for the WPCA.

High River's Jason Glass says it's turning into a pretty good spot for both the drivers and the fans.

"We've been here for four or five years now. Last year, this grandstand, they've got a covered grandstand with a casino and it's a really nice place. We packed this grandstand last year every night, so it's starting to catch on."

Glass, who's coming off a tortuous weekend of penalty's in Grande Prairie, to open the season last week, is hoping for much better this time out starting Thursday, June 7.
