John Walters took his third ever WPCA show title with a big win Sunday, July 30, in Bonnyville.

The Delburne, Alberta Driver finished a full two seconds ahead of the field in the aggregate and says the time off after the Calgary Stampede paid off.

"We moved a couple of these horses to different positions, because I needed a horse in those spots. Got that figured out before we came here. So, with the horsepower I think we're sitting pretty good, I hope."

High River's Jason Glass had a good run Sunday, finishing second on the day and seventh in the aggregate.

High River's Jordie Fike was 16th in the aggregate, while Okotoks Mark and Dayton Sutherland finished 29th and 33rd respectively.

The drivers now pack up and head back to the Foothills in Strathmore, for the Heritage Days Stampede starting Friday, August 4.
