Monday, July 10, marked the final day of rodeo for Pool "A" competitors at the Calgary Stampede.

Saddle bronc rider Clay Elliott from Nanton finished up the four day stretch in second place, earning him a spot in Saturday's semi-finals, along with $12,000 in his pocket.

Tanner Milan of Cochrane also finished second in the aggregate in steer wrestling, taking home $16,500.

Pool "B" gets started Tuesday, July 11, with Logan Bird from Nanton taking part in tie down roping.

And Donalda's Cody Cassidy in steer wrestling.
