Another split for the High River Flyers over the weekend in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

They fell 6-3 to Airdrie Friday, October 6, at home, but bounced back with a 5-4 overtime win Sunday, October 8, in Ponoka.

Despite a 2-2-and-1 record, the Flyers still find themselves in last place in the South Division, but Coach Tyson Avery says that's no indicative of the teams play.

"No, not at all. This year the division is pretty tight, every team is looking good and we have five points and if you win one more game, you move up to second. So, things are looking pretty good so far."

The Flyers are in Stettler Friday, October 13, and back home Saturday, October 14, to battle the Mountainview Colts.
