An empty netter sealed the win for the Okotoks Oilers last night with a 6-4 victory.

The host Calgary Mustangs succumbed after being up 4-2 following two periods.

The Oilers scored three unanswered goals in the third period, and then topped it off with Tanner Laderoute getting his second of the night with 40 seconds left in the game.

Laderoute also scored a goal earlier in the game to give him two on the night along with an assist for three points.

Jacob Bernard-Docker also had a pair of goals opening the scoring for the Oilers at the 7:19 mark of the first period.

The Oilers continue the road trip this Friday in Drumheller as they take on the Dragons.
