The Okotoks Dawgs are tied atop the Western Major Baseball League standings after their 13-8 win over the Bulls Thursday night in Lethbridge.

This one went back and forth all night before the Dawgs tacked on four runs in the 8th and 9th innings to salt it away.

A five-run sixth inning, capped off by a Matt Lloyd double to left field put Okotoks in the driver's seat the rest of the way. The base-knock gave Lloyd his third straight multi-hit game, while Jayse McLean’s fourth home run of the season put the contest out of reach.

The Dawgs added some late-game insurance with an RBI single from Cameron Campbell in the eighth and another two-run double off the bat of Lloyd in the ninth.

Zach Demchenko got the call from the bullpen and earned the win after two innings of work.

All nine Okotoks starters had a least one hit.

The Dawgs host the Bulls, for their fifth meeting this week Friday night at 7 at Seaman Stadium.
