A couple of the Dawgs big bats were given league awards this week.

No big surprise to see the Dawgs Kody Funderburk named the league's MVP.

He hit .339 on the season and led the league with 15 home runs.

He also made nine appearances on the mound, giving up no runs, while striking out 11 and earning a save.

Matt Lloyd is the Canadian Rookie of the Year.

He hit .402, had 38 RBI's and eight home runs.

Eight Dawgs were also named league all-stars.
