Okotoks Oilers defensemen Jordan Davies Has committed to play for the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Ooks for the upcoming hockey season.

Davies began his career in Sherwood Park where he played his minor hockey before joining the Okotoks Oilers in the 2015-16 season after a trade with the Nipawin Hawks.  

IN 209 games over four years he had 28 goals and 88 assists.  

In 76 games with the Oilers Davies notched four goals and 44 assists.

“Bringing both size and strength to our backend, Jordan put up some significant minutes as one of our team eaders over the past couple of seasons," Head Coach & Director of Hockey Development Tyler Deis for the Oilers says. "NAIT is extremely fortunate to have Jordan joining their team.”

Davies is the 5th Oiler to commit to a post-secondary institution in the 2016-17 season joining  Jacob Bernard-Docker (University of North Dakota), Jordan Xavier (University of Alaska Anchorage), Tanner Laderoute  (University of Alaska Anchorage) and Trey de Graaf (University of Alaska Anchorage).
