The WPCA tarp auction is all set for Thursday, April 6.

Bidders from around the Province will bid on the chuckwagon drivers and the eight shows on the WPCA Tour.

Bids were down about a quarter of a million dollars last year as compared to 2015, but are expected to be the same or just up this year.

High River's Guy Weadick days saw just over $131,000 in bids in 2016, with Kurt Bensmiller getting the high bid at $15,000.

The Ponoka Stampede hosts their auction Friday, May 5, with the season getting going Wednesday, May 31 in Grande Prairie.
