The Okotoks Bisons hit the ice Friday, September 22, for their regular season home opener as they face the Cochrane Generals.

Bisons GM Brent Trevors says the Generals aren't completely unknown to them.

"We played them twice in exhibition. Obviously they were the league champs last year. You know I guess playing these guys right out of the gate here, we're going to find out who we are right out of the gate."

Game time is 8 o'clock at the Murray Arena.
