A big game Friday, January 5, in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League with the Okotoks Bisons in High River to take on the Flyers in a battle for first place in the South Division.

The Bisons lead the the Flyers by just one point heading in, and Flyers coach Tyson Avery says if this game's like the first four, it'll be a nail biter.

"It should be a tight defensive game and good offensive game as well. Hopefully it's another, like you said, a close one, good little barn burner to start the 2018 half of the season off, and we'll go from there."

The Bisons won the first three meetings between the teams to start the year, but the Flyers won the fourth game, with two more to go, both in High River.

The Bisons however, hold three games in hand over the Flyers, who have, including Friday's game, have just eight games left in the regular season.

Game time is 8 o'clock at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.
