Chuckwagon drivers from all corners of Alberta have gathered in Grande Prairie to start another year of WPCA racing.

High River's Jason Glass says after a long winter it's great to see the rest of the drivers and their families again.

"It's great to see all the faces again. I've got my wife and kids with me. The kids have, I don't know how many friends around here. I know they're hard to find around here half the time. But, they love it! So, it's very cool to see everyone again after all winter."

Glass starts off the five days of racing Wednesday, May 30, in heat eight, hooked with Logan and Gary Gorst along with Obrey Motowylo.

Fellow High River Driver Jordie Fike comes off barrel four in heat four to start the show.

And the Okotoks duo of Dayton and Mark Sutherland take to the track in heats two and six respectively.
