Thieves break into Fountain Tire and steal customer's vehicle

Thieves broke into Fountain Tire in High River over the weekend and stole a customer's vehicle. High River RCMP Staff Sgt. Greg Wiebe explains what happened. "What had occurred was there was a vehicle that was there for service. It was parked outside the establishment, and somebody broke into the key drop box, was able to access some keys which allowed them to then take the vehicle and the vehicle was subsequently recovered in Turner Valley." Wiebe says they're looking for a pair of suspects. "There was a break-in that occurred sometime between Sunday at 5 p.m. and about 7:30 in the morning on Monday. Our suspects are believed to be a male and female. They were dressed in dark clothing and driving what looked like a Chrysler 300, white in colour." They were unable to get any clear footage of the suspects and is asking for the public's help in identifying them. If you have any information that can assist in the ongoing investigation, you're asked to call the High River RCMP detachment at 403-652-2357 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www. P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
