Hold onto your horses, the beloved Travelling Mabels and Over the Moon will be galloping into Okotoks for a fundraiser.

It's coming up on April 1 at the Foothills Centennial Centre.

It's for the upcoming Okotoks-Black Diamond Alberta Summer Games.

Founding member of the Travelling Mabels, Keith Floen, says it's going to be a great night.

"The show starts at 7 o'clock. Over the Moon is going to be opening and Over the Moon are Susanne Levesque and Craig Bignell. And then we'll kick in after they do their opening. Tickets are available only online."

Both acts are award winners with the Travelling Mabels latest album 'Take Me Home' and Over the Moon's 'Chinook Waltz' nominated for Album of the Year with the Alberta County Music Association.

"There's going to be some toe-tapping stuff, a lot of stories, a lot of bad jokes, some good laughs, maybe the odd tear depending on how emotionally you get moved."

The Okotoks-Black Diamond Alberta Summer Games runs from July 20 to 23, 2023.
