Two suspects charged for theft of lumber in Foothills County in late May are now facing more charges from Airdrie RCMP.

On May 10, Airdrie RCMP was assisted by the Southern District Emergency Response Team in a search warrant in Rocky View County.

They recovered $20,000 worth of stolen property including generators, tools, as well as personal items and documents.

Then from June 8 to 15, the Airdrie RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Airdrie RCMP General Duty recovered two stolen vehicles, a stolen utility trailer, a stolen travel trailer, and a stolen Skid Steer in Rocky View County.

Five people were charged as a result: 31-year-old Baljinder Sandhu, 40-year-old Sarbjit Singh, 46-year-old Sukhjit Dhaliwal, 25-year-old Tirath Gill, 41-year-old Dharminder Gosal, and 45-year-old Juanita Morrissey are all facing charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.

Gill was also charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with a Release Order, and Morrissey was also charged with Possession of identity documents and two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000.

Sandhu and Singh were previously charged after they were found loading lumber into a stolen cube van in the community of Artesia.
