The 33rd annual Okotoks Rotary Club Soapbox Derby was held on Saturday (June 3).
This year, 100 drivers signed up for the annual tradition, with 47 new participants among them.
As usual, an eclectic mix of soap box car designs sped down the hill on Crystal Ridge Drive, with homages to Back to the Future, Star Wario, Super Mario Bros, and Monopoly among them.
Behind the event were countless volunteers, several Okotoks Dawgs, and a long list of sponsors.
Funds raised will support programs from the Okotoks Rotary Club.
Dylan Ross ended up hoisting the cup, posting the fastest time at 32:50.
