The High River Flyers are in a must-win situation Friday night.

They take on the Strathmore Wheatland Kings in game two of their best of three first-round series.

The Wheaties beat the Flyers 5-1 in the first game in Strathmore on Tuesday night.

If the Flyers win tonight they'll force the series-deciding game Saturday night in Strathmore.

Strathmore has home-ice advantage as they finished in fourth place in the south division in the Heritage Junior B league.

They've had a pretty balanced regular season against one another with High River winning two of the five games played.

In Okotoks, the Bisons get to rest this weekend as they have a bye in the first round.

They finished in first place overall with a 33-2-1 record.

They'll face off against the winner of the Kainai Junior Braves - Coaldale Copperheads first-round series.
