The Okotoks Dawgs swept their two game series with the Regina Red Sox with a 4-3 win Tuesday in the Queen City.

Chris Horvath picked up his third straight win as he pitching 5.2 innings, giving up just five hits, one walk and striking out five.

Holden Lyons took over in the seventh inning giving up a couple of hits over his two innings of work.

Jeremy Newton closed out the game with his third save of the season pitching a scoreless ninth inning while striking out three Red Sox batters.

The Dawgs offence was lead by Brian Sisler who had two hits and an RBI.

He now leads the team with 20.

Joey Underwood had a pair of hits as well, including his fifth double of the season.

The Dawgs make their way to Weyburn  Wednesday night to face the Beavers as they kick off a two game series.

The Dawgs return home Friday to start a five game home stand.
