The Okotoks Dawgs weren't taking any prisoners Wednesday night as they beat up on the Fort McMurray Giants 18-7.

The Dawgs must have been frustrated with the Giants after losing to them 7-3 in their series opener Tuesday night.

Just about every Dawg had a hit, or RBI, but Elliot Cary had the best night hitting his third home run of the season, cashing in three runs in the eighth inning to really put it away.

The Dawgs and Giants are back at it Thursday night as they wind up their series.

The Dawgs welcome Medicine Hat Friday night for the regular season finale for both teams.

The math is simple though, with a game and a half lead over the Mavericks for top spot in the WMBL's West Division, all the Dawgs need to do is win Thursday to clinch the title.

But if they don't... They'll need a win over the Mavericks Friday to claim the title.
