After a dreary week of on-again-off-again rain and even snow as recently as Monday night, Southern Alberta will see some sun this weekend.

Environment & Climate Change Canada Meteorologist Stephen Berg says it will feel much more in line with what you'd hope to see in a spring weekend.

“Looks like temperatures will be into the low 20s from Friday to Monday with largely sunny conditions. A bit of cloud coming in toward the end of the weekend and early next week, but mostly pretty nice.”

It’s possible those clouds could bring some more rain, though it’s a little too far out to say for certain.

When things start to warm up, as they seem to be now, Albertans always hold out hope that we’ve seen the last of the snow for a few months.

But Albertans know better than to let their guard down.

“It’s hard to say for sure. We can have snow in June in Alberta, so I’m not saying it’s done completely yet," says Berg.
