Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw gave another live COVID-19 update this afternoon.

Since there was no situation update given on Sunday, the latest update included numbers from the last 48 hours.

Alberta's active cases have increased to 355, with Saturday's report having shown 336.

6698 recoveries have been confirmed.

44 Albertans are being treated in hospital, with six in intensive care.

Three more Albertans have lost their lives to COVID-19, bringing the total to 149 lives lost.

11,025 tests were carried out, with 64 new cases.

In total, over 300,000 tests have been completed in Alberta.

The province's geospatial data shows two active cases in the "Okotoks-Priddis" area, as well as the "High River" area.

Additionally, the province has started giving out free masks at the drive-thrus of many Canadian restaurants today.
