Two new electric vehicle charging stations are coming to Okotoks.
It's part of a three-year program with Aviva Canada and Earth Day Canada.
They're level 2 charging stations, which allow for quicker charging times, and Okotoks currently has two level 2 charging stations operating for $2 per hour to the consumer.
The program is called 'Charged for Change' and it's in year two of its three-year commitment.
The Town of Okotoks is only one of eight municipalities in Canada receiving the new level 2 charging stations.
Okotoks is the only Alberta town to receive the two new charging stations.
