The Holy Trinity Academy Knights are looking for their third straight win as they welcome their rivals the Foothills Composite Falcons to Knights Field Thursday.

The Knights are coming off a Big Rock Football Conference Semi-Final rematch 37-7 victory over the Rundle College Cobras last Friday and look to stay a top the league standings.

Head Coach Matt Hassett says they played their best football so far in the season against the Cobras.

"It was an excellent game it was a really good team win on offence, defence and special teams. Thought the defence did a really good job, we gave up one special teams touchdown so we didn't actually give up any points to them defensively," he says.

Last year the Falcons crushed the Knights in league play 38-0 but Hassett says that won't be the case this time around.

"Seasons have been nearly similar we both had really tough schedules and didn't do as well as we probably both wanted to early and we're both coming on late here with playing really good football."

With the top seed theirs for the taken with a win at home Hassett says all hands will need to be on deck to ensure victory.

"When you're playing a team that's the defending provincial champions you have to be good in every phase offence, defence and special teams. Football is a game of momentum whoever kind of takes that momentum and goes with it or makes fewer mistakes turnovers are going to be huge. They're huge in any game so probably the team who wins the turnover ratio is probably going to win the game."

Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
